Iconic masterplan of a year round resort destination based on the idea of a green, sustainable and “0” carbon footprint community. Development comprises of a waterfront with low-rise semi-urban fabric and adjacent zones of different functions. The main gathering space of the waterfront promenade with restaurants and shops becomes a central point and a stage for public events. Idea of a water town as a sustainable „village” goes back to the roots of Chinese cultural and traditional values materializing as physical forms in such places as Suzhou, Wuxi and other ancient water towns in China.  The quality of urban space is reflected in it’s intimacy and hierarchy of nodes and linked spaces, intertwining of quiet pedestrian routes and water canals.
